Banana in coconut milk

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 ml coconut milk (can)
  • 2 bananas
  • 5 tbsp sugar
  • 1 pinch of salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Thai style

Cut the bananas into small pieces (1/2 cm). Pour the coconut milk into a saucepan and heat. Add the sugar and salt and bring to a boil. Remove the pan from the heat. Add the bananas and let them stand for a maximum of 3 minutes. Let them cool for 30 minutes. TIP: You can also mash or puree the bananas a little. This dish can be served lukewarm or cold. It also tastes great with vanilla ice cream, for example.
