Blueberry and Orange Jam with Vanilla

The perfect blueberry and orange jam with vanilla recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 kg Blueberries
  • 1 Organic orange
  • 2 Vanilla pods
  • 500 g Preserving sugar 2: 1
  • 4 Twist-Off glasses
  1. Briefly rinse and drain the blueberries. Accept orange zest and squeeze out the juice. Put the blueberries in a large saucepan, add the zest and juice of the orange and mix with the preserving sugar. Boil. Add the vanilla pulp. Remove foam if necessary. Make a gelling test after approx. 10 minutes. Puree and then immediately pour into the hot-rinsed twist-off glasses. Close immediately. Let cool for a day and label. Store in a cool and dark area.
