Buttermilk multigrain bread for the bread maker

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 ml buttermilk
  • 2 tsp salt
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tbsp oil, neutral
  • 300 g wheat flour (wholemeal), or type 1050
  • 200 g spelt flour (wholemeal)
  • 100 g rye flour (wholemeal)
  • 100 g mixed seeds (pumpkin seeds, sesame, linseed, poppy seeds, pine nuts, sunflower seeds, etc.)
  • 1 packet of dry yeast

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 3 hours; Total time approx. 3 hours 5 minutes

Place the ingredients into the bread maker’s baking pan in the order listed. Depending on your bread maker: Select the appropriate program (usually there’s a special program for buttermilk bread, otherwise “regular”) and set it to the darkest browning. Select the correct loaf size. Avoid using the express program if possible. Start the program.
