a very simple, delicious recipe with frozen puff pastry

Thaw the puff pastry. Pierce with a fork and let rest for a while. Then place the puff pastry on a cold, rinsed baking sheet or on baking paper. In the meantime, dice the peppers, tomatoes, ham, and salami. Mix these ingredients together and season with the spices. Grate the cheese and set aside. Spread the tomato paste over the puff pastry, leaving a 1 cm border free. Spread the peppers, tomatoes, ham, and salami mixture over the pastry. Finally, sprinkle the grated cheese over the top. Moisten the edge of the puff pastry and place the second piece of pastry on top, press it down, and brush with the beaten egg yolk. Bake in a preheated oven at 200°C for 20-30 minutes until golden brown.
