Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 6 m.-sized carrot(s)
- 1 m.-sized onion(s)
- e.g. chives
- 3 tbsp water
- 4 tbsp vinegar
- 1 tbsp oil
- e.g. salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes
Wash and peel whole carrots, and boil them in salted water until soft. Slice the soft carrots (use a serrated knife for a more attractive appearance). Place the slices in a salad bowl and sprinkle with finely chopped onion. Make a marinade of water, oil, salt, and pepper and pour it over the carrot slices. Sprinkle with chives, if desired.
