Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 900 g mahonia berries
- 350 ml cherry juice
- 1 kg gelling sugar 1:1
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Boil the mahonia berries with a little water until soft, then drain the juice through a cheesecloth or fine sieve. Measure 400 ml and bring to a boil in a suitable saucepan with the cherry juice and preserving sugar, stirring. Boil briskly for about 1 minute, then immediately pour into hot, rinsed jars. Close the jars tightly and let stand upside down for a few minutes.
