Chia jam with strawberries

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 200 g strawberries
  • 3 tbsp chia seeds
  • 3 tbsp powdered sweetener

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Rest time approx. 3 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 3 hours 15 minutes

Briefly bring the pureed fruit to a boil with the sugar. Stir in the chia seeds, pour into a jar, and let it cool in the refrigerator. Note: You don’t necessarily have to cook the fruit. However, the jam will then only keep for 1-2 days. Boiling it will keep it in the refrigerator for 3-4 days. It also tastes great in quark after lunch, or for those popular overnight treats. Of course, you can also use other fruits.
