Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 150 g sugar
  • 150 g butter
  • 3 eggs
  • ½ pack of baking powder
  • 150 g flour
  • 3 tbsp condensed milk or cream
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 300 g yogurt (baked apple) or natural yogurt with sugar and cinnamon
  • 2 tbsp powdered sugar
  • 5 packs of cream stiffener
  • 2 cups of cream
  • 1 apple, finely sliced, 5×5 mm or fine
  • Cinnamon and/or almond flakes for decoration

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Baked apple cake based on the Raffaello cake principle

Combine butter, sugar, eggs, baking powder, flour, and condensed milk in a dough and bake for about 30 minutes at 180°C. Whisk the yogurt, powdered sugar, and 2 cups of cream stiffener until smooth. In another bowl, whisk 2 cups of cream and 3 cups of cream stiffener until stiff. Carefully fold the yogurt mixture into the cream. Add the apple. Spread on the cooled base. Refrigerate the cake for 1-2 hours. Decorate with cinnamon and/or almond flakes just before serving. Tip: This cake also tastes delicious if you drizzle some rum flavoring over the base after baking.
