Cranberry – Quark Rolls
The perfect cranberry – quark rolls recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
Base dough
- 400 g Flour
- 200 ml Milk [lukewarm]
- 1 packet Yeast
- 6 tbsp Oil
- 1 Prices Salt
also:
- 250 g Quark [low-fat quark also works]
- 175 g Sugar
- 1 packet Vanilla sugar
- 1 packet Flour
- 100 g Cranberries [dried]
- Put the flour and salt in a large mixing bowl and make a well in the center. Dissolve the yeast in the milk completely and pour it into the well together with the oil. Process everything into a smooth dough. Shape this into a ball, place in the bowl and cover and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour. Idea: I like to put the bowl in warm water in the sink, because the dough rises really well.
- Mix the quark with sugar and vanilla sugar. Roughly chop the cranberries. Carefully stir the quark mixture into the yeast dough (preferably with a mixer).
- Add flour to the dough and knead until it no longer sticks to your fingers. Then knead in the cranberries. Let the dough rise for another 30 minutes.
- Preheat the oven to 175 ° C. Now knead the dough vigorously again, shape it into a long roll and separate small rolls. Then distribute these on a floured / greased baking sheet (enough space, because the things will still open). Then bake for 15-20 minutes.
- Bon appetit!
