Cranberry – Quark Rolls

The perfect cranberry – quark rolls recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

Base dough

  • 400 g Flour
  • 200 ml Milk [lukewarm]
  • 1 packet Yeast
  • 6 tbsp Oil
  • 1 Prices Salt

also:

  • 250 g Quark [low-fat quark also works]
  • 175 g Sugar
  • 1 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 1 packet Flour
  • 100 g Cranberries [dried]
  1. Put the flour and salt in a large mixing bowl and make a well in the center. Dissolve the yeast in the milk completely and pour it into the well together with the oil. Process everything into a smooth dough. Shape this into a ball, place in the bowl and cover and let rise in a warm place for 1 hour. Idea: I like to put the bowl in warm water in the sink, because the dough rises really well.
  2. Mix the quark with sugar and vanilla sugar. Roughly chop the cranberries. Carefully stir the quark mixture into the yeast dough (preferably with a mixer).
  3. Add flour to the dough and knead until it no longer sticks to your fingers. Then knead in the cranberries. Let the dough rise for another 30 minutes.
  4. Preheat the oven to 175 ° C. Now knead the dough vigorously again, shape it into a long roll and separate small rolls. Then distribute these on a floured / greased baking sheet (enough space, because the things will still open). Then bake for 15-20 minutes.
  5. Bon appetit!
