Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 650 ml juice (elderberry)
  • 250 ml apple juice
  • 1 lemon(s), juice
  • 1 kg gelling sugar
  • 4 cl schnapps (apple schnapps)

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

9 glasses of 225 ml each

Bring the elderberry, apple, and lemon juice to a boil along with the gelling sugar in a saucepan, stirring constantly. Boil until the sugar dissolves and the gelling test is successful. Skim off any foam and stir in the apple schnapps. Pour the jelly into jars and seal immediately.
