Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 slice(s) Leberkäse, 2 cm thick
- 4 slices of ham
- 4 slice(s) cheese, suitable for toasting
- 2 eggs
- Flour, for turning
- Breadcrumbs for coating
- Oil, for frying
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Cut a pocket into the meatloaf slices, place a slice of ham and a slice of toasted cheese inside each slice, then coat the slices first in flour, then in beaten eggs, and finally in breadcrumbs. Fry in deep, hot oil until crispy brown on both sides. Serve with parsley potatoes and a green salad.
