Feta with a difference, ideal as a dip, a must at a barbecue party

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 100 g walnuts
  • 100 g feta cheese
  • 4 garlic cloves
  • 4 tbsp tomato paste
  • 6 drops of lemon juice
  • olive oil
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Esme, that’s what my Turkish colleague told me

Grind the walnuts, feta, and garlic cloves very finely in a blender until a paste forms. Then mix with the tomato paste and lemon juice. Season to taste with a little olive oil, salt, paprika, and pepper. It tastes great with flatbread, but also with roasted meat. I’ve even had it with meatballs (Fridakellen or meatballs).
