Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 8 slices of Leberkäse (thin)
- 4 slices of cheese (Emmental, thin slices)
- Mustard, medium hot
- 200 g flour
- 2 eggs
- 200 g breadcrumbs
- Fat for frying
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes
Spread two slices of Leberkäse with mustard on one side each. Place a slice of Emmental cheese on one of the coated sides, cover with the other slice of Leberkäse, and stick them together. Beat the eggs. Coat the Leberkäse in flour and egg, then coat with breadcrumbs. Heat some oil in a pan and fry the Leberkäse on both sides until light brown.
