Fried Moroccan Cinnamon Bread

The perfect fried moroccan cinnamon bread recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 0,5 Baguette
  • 1 Eggs
  • 250 ml Milk
  • 0,5 tsp Vanilla extract
  • Butter
  • 60 g Sugar
  • 1 tbsp Ground cinnamon
  • 0,5 tsp Ground nutmeg
  1. Cut the baguette diagonally into 2 cm thick slices. Beat the eggs in a bowl, then stir in the milk and vanilla extract. Melt the butter in a pan. Mix the sugar, ground cinnamon and nutmeg in a bowl.
  1. Dip the bread slices in the egg milk and fry them in the butter until both sides are golden brown and crispy. Place on kitchen paper, then immediately twist in the sugar mixture. If necessary, add more butter to the pan.
