Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

crispy snack

First, wash the pig’s ears thoroughly and pat dry. Using a sharp knife, cut them into thin (0.5 to 1.0 cm) strips. Slice the onion into rings and slice the garlic. Heat plenty of oil in a pan (the bottom is well covered) and add the pig’s ear strips. When the strips begin to brown, season with salt and pepper. Add the onion rings and fry. When the onions become translucent, fry the garlic briefly. This snack is now ready to be enjoyed with a dip (or simply ketchup). Note: I got the fresh pig’s ears directly from the slaughterhouse.
