Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g flour
  • 100 g sugar
  • 100 g butter
  • 1 tsp, leveled baking powder
  • 25 ml water
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • 1 small bottle(s) of rum flavoring
  • Sugar granules

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Fine pastries made according to old traditional recipes

Mix the first 7 ingredients into a dough. Form the dough into approximately 3 cm thick rolls and roll them in sugar. Chill the rolls overnight to allow the flavors to blend. The next day, cut the rolls into 1/2 cm thick slices and place them on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Bake at 200°C for approximately 10 minutes; the cookies should remain light in color! Tip: The cookies taste best after 2-3 days.
