Fruit puree

Spread the love

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 mango(s)
  • 1 papaya
  • ½ pineapple
  • some passion fruit juice or nectar
  • possibly honey

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Quick dessert, very simple and very tasty!

Peel the mango and cut the flesh away from the pit, then dice the flesh. Halve the papaya, scoop out the seeds with a spoon, cut the flesh away from the skin, and dice the flesh. Cut the green and bottom of the pineapple and cut the “skin” down the side. Then slice the pineapple, remove the hard center, and dice the remaining flesh. Place all the fruit cubes in a bowl, add a dash of passion fruit juice or nectar, and blend everything until smooth. Ripe, sweet fruit doesn’t need to be sweetened. If it’s not sweet enough for you, add a bit of honey. Possible uses: This puree can be eaten on its own; it’s enough for two people. Stirred into natural yogurt or quark, you get a fruity dessert. The puree also makes an excellent fruit topping for ice cream desserts or puddings, as a filling for sweet crêpes or pancakes, or diluted with 100-150 ml of fruit juice as a summer drink (smoothie). Tip: Freeze orange juice in ice cube trays and use them to chill the drink. This way, the drink stays cold without being watered down.
