My favorite cake recipe for winter

Melt the chocolate. Beat the butter with the sugar and vanilla sugar until fluffy. Add the egg yolks and then the softened chocolate. Stir in the rum flavoring and milk. Add the flour and baking powder. Then mix in the gingerbread spice and apple strudel spice. Grate the apples and dice the gingerbread. Then stir both into the batter. Beat the egg whites until stiff and carefully fold in. Grease a springform pan with oil and pour in the batter. Bake at 180°C (top/bottom heat) for about 50 minutes, then let it rest in the oven for about 10 minutes. Let it cool, then carefully remove the cake from the pan.
