  • 500 g pasta, preferably Rigatoni
  • 1 cup of cream
  • 90 g tomato paste
  • 100 ml water
  • ½ ring/s of meat sausage
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

This recipe comes from my great-grandmother; it’s very simple, quick, and inexpensive, but most of all, incredibly delicious! Cook the pasta according to the package instructions. Finely dice the onion. Cut the sausage into 1 cm cubes. Sauté the onion in a pot with a little oil until translucent. Add tomato paste, cream, and water. Season the sauce with 1-2 tablespoons of sugar; it should taste slightly sweet. Season with salt and pepper, if needed. Add the sausage cubes. Add the drained pasta to the pot and stir to combine.
