Grilling & Co: Foxy’s Vampire Paste

The perfect grilling & co: foxy’s vampire paste recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 3 Stems Fresh thyme
  • 4 Stems Freshly chopped thyme
  • 7 tbsp Olive oil
  • 4 Tubers Garlic
  • Salt pepper
  1. Preheat the oven to 200 ° C top and bottom heat.
  1. Place a piece of aluminum foil in a baking dish, place the garlic bulbs on top and drizzle with 3 tablespoons of olive oil. Place 3 thyme stalks in between and wrap everything with the aluminum foil. Bake in the oven for 45-50 minutes.
  1. Take the whole thing out of the oven and let it cool, then loosen the individual toes from the shell with your fingers (Babbic matter :-D) and press the inside of the garlic with your fingers into a bowl, then mash it with a fork until it is puree .
  1. Stir in the remaining olive oil and chopped thyme.
  1. Now pour the vampire paste into a small jam jar and store in the refrigerator.
  1. The paste not only tastes great with grilled food. They can also be added to salads or used to sear meat and vegetables.
  1. The whole thing also works with the Thai garlic, which you can buy in raffia baskets. In this case, instead of the 4 bulbs, use the entire contents of the raffia basket
