Spread the love

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 1 liter of water
  • n. B. Tea, black
  • 1 lemon(s), the juice
  • 1 tsp agave syrup or honey
  • e.g. mint, fresh or lemon balm, …
  • e.g. ginger
  • n. B. ice cubes

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 2 hours; Total time approx. 2 hours 15 minutes

Boil one liter of black tea and add the mint, ginger, and possibly other herbs in a tea strainer. Also add a little agave syrup or sachet. The amount can be adjusted to taste. Let the tea steep with the other ingredients for about 5-10 minutes, depending on how strong you want it to be, and then chill for a few hours. Once the tea has cooled, add the juice of one lemon and, ideally, refrigerate the tea for a while or add plenty of ice cubes to ensure it truly becomes iced tea. Using agave syrup makes the iced tea vegan.
