"Löscher's" sausage salad

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 1 onion(s)
  • 4 pickles
  • 500 g meat sausage
  • e.g. parsley or chives
  • 4 tbsp mustard, sweet
  • 3 tbsp rapeseed oil
  • 2 tbsp balsamic vinegar, lighter
  • 3 tbsp honey, alternatively agave syrup
  • 1 shot of cucumber water
  • salt and pepper

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Bavarian sausage salad with sweet mustard dressing

Peel the onion and slice it into half rings. Cut against the grain to retain its crispness. Place the onions and all the dressing ingredients in a large bowl and mix well. Halve the gherkins lengthwise and slice them. Cut the bologna into the desired shape, for example, into half rings or strips. Add both to the dressing. Mix everything thoroughly. Garnish with fresh parsley or chives and serve. Tip: Ideally, let the salad sit for a while. The longer the better.
