Macaroni casserole

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 500 g minced meat
  • 400 g pasta (short macaroni)
  • 2 onions
  • Thyme
  • marjoram
  • 1 can of tomato paste
  • g cheese (Gouda)
  • 2 packs of cream

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Cook the short macaroni (you can also break the long macaroni into pieces) in salted water. Brown the ground beef in a pan until crumbly. Add the diced onions and fry until translucent. Add the tomato paste to the pan and sauté briefly. Season with plenty of thyme and marjoram. Alternate layers of pasta, ground beef, and cheese in a baking dish. Finally, pour the cream over the top. Bake in the oven at 180°C for about 35 minutes, until the cheese is nicely browned.
