Mediterranean chicken strips

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g chicken breast
  • 1 red bell pepper(s)
  • 100 ml cream
  • 100 g processed cheese
  • 200 ml water
  • Olive oil, for frying
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder, hot
  • basil
  • Thyme
  • oregano

Instructions

Working time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Cut the chicken into small pieces. Wash the bell peppers and cut them into small strips. Heat olive oil in a pan, fry the meat until golden brown, and season with pepper and paprika. Remove the meat from the pan. Add the bell pepper strips to the pan, fry them vigorously, and season with salt and pepper. Gradually add water. Add the cream cheese to the pan and dissolve. Return the chicken strips to the pan, add the cream and herbs, and season to taste. Serve with spaghetti or baked potatoes. Tip: If you want more sauce, simply add a little more water and cream cheese.
