Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • ¼ cup paprika powder, sweet
  • 2 tbsp salt
  • 2 tbsp onion powder
  • 2 tbsp black pepper, freshly ground
  • 1 tbsp cayenne pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

Dry rub for seasoning spare ribs

Mix all ingredients thoroughly and pour into a jar, seal tightly, and store in a dry, dark place. If you prefer, you can also use whole peppercorns, which you can roughly chop. Rub the spare ribs thoroughly with the rub at least 12 hours before grilling, then let it sit in the refrigerator. Remove from the refrigerator about 2 hours before grilling and let it sit at room temperature to finish.
