Minced meat with pasta Italian style

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 g pasta
  • 500 g minced meat
  • 150 g carrot(s)
  • 125 g bacon, streaky
  • 1 can of mushrooms
  • 1 can tomato(s) (Pizza tomatoes)
  • 300 g cheese (Gouda)
  • 2 tsp, heaped herbs, Italian
  • 1 tsp, heaped garlic granules
  • 1 tsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp chili, fresh (adjust amount to taste)

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Cook the pasta, drain, and let stand. Fry the minced meat until crumbly and set aside. Fry the bacon and set aside. Fry the carrots and mushrooms and add to the pan. Mix the tomatoes with the spices in a mixing bowl and puree using a hand blender. Butter a casserole dish or 4 small ones and spread the pasta on the bottom. Add the carrots, bacon, and mushrooms. Spread the minced meat over the dish. Pour the tomato puree over the pasta. Cover with cheese. Place in the oven at 200°C for about 30 minutes.
