Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 schnitzels
- salt and pepper
- 2 eggs
- 1 dash of cream
- Flour
- breadcrumbs
- 2 tsp horseradish
- 4 tsp mustard, sweet
- oil
- 2 tbsp butter
- Lemon(s) for garnishing
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes
Pound the schnitzel. Season with salt and pepper. Brush one side with horseradish and the other with sweet mustard. Whisk the eggs with a dash of cream. Coat the schnitzels in flour, then dip them in the egg, and finally coat them in the breadcrumbs. Fry the schnitzels in the oil and butter mixture until cooked through and golden brown. Serve garnished with lemon. This goes well with potato and cucumber salad.
