Mushroom and cheese skewers

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 12 large mushrooms, fresh
  • 4 small tomatoes
  • 4 slices of bacon
  • 4 cubes of cheese, Gouda, medium-aged
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • Pepper, white
  • lemon juice
  • possibly parsley
  • Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Make a marinade with oil, pepper, salt, and lemon juice. Marinate the mushrooms for 10 minutes. Drain. Slice the tomatoes crosswise. Wrap the cheese cubes in the bacon. Thread the ingredients onto 4 skewers. Brush with the marinade and grill for 5 minutes. Drizzle with lemon juice and garnish with parsley, if desired.
