Mustard and honey drumsticks

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 8 chicken drumsticks
  • 125 ml liquid honey
  • 4 tbsp Dijon mustard
  • 4 tbsp grainy mustard
  • 4 tbsp white wine vinegar
  • 2 tbsp sunflower oil
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 55 minutes

for the grill

Score the legs diagonally two or three times with a sharp knife and place in a baking dish. Mix all the other ingredients thoroughly in a measuring jug and season with salt and pepper. Pour the mixture over the legs and toss to coat thoroughly. Cover with plastic wrap and marinate in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour. Heat up the grill. Drain the legs and reserve the marinade. Grill the legs over medium heat for 25-30 minutes, turning regularly and brushing with the marinade.
