Onion – bacon – sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 150 g bacon or ham
  • 2 large onions
  • 1 ½ cups sweet cream
  • 1 cup sour cream
  • 1 tsp, leveled meat broth, granulated
  • 2 tbsp Parmesan, grated
  • salt and pepper
  • Maggi

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

Quick sauce recipe, suitable for gnocchi, pasta or potato dumplings

Brown the bacon. Finely dice the onions and add them to the bacon. Deglaze with sweet cream and season with meat broth. Add the sour cream and season with salt, pepper, and Maggi. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese. Instead of the sour cream, you can also use sour cream, but add it at the end and don’t let it boil again, otherwise the sauce will be too lumpy.
