Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 4 orange(s), untreated
  • 30 g sugar
  • 125 ml water
  • some oil (sunflower oil)

Instructions

Peel the orange peels very finely, leaving out the white part. Place the peels in a saucepan with sugar and water and simmer over medium heat for about 15 minutes until syrupy. Line a baking tray with baking paper and brush it thinly with sunflower oil. Spread the peels on the tray and dry in the oven at 60°C for about 3 hours. Wedge a wooden spoon in the door. Then let cool and grind very finely in a blender. Store the powder in a dark, dry place. It will keep for about 6 months. For seasoning scallops and fish. Can also be sprinkled over rice dishes and salads.
