Pasta bake with minced meat and mozzarella

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g tagliatelle pasta
  • 500 g minced meat, mixed, preferably from the butcher
  • 4 medium-sized onions, chopped
  • 400 ml whipped cream
  • 1 clove(s) garlic, chopped, or more if desired
  • Salt or Fondor
  • Pepper, freshly ground
  • 375 g mozzarella, shredded (like fries)
  • oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

inexpensive, tasty, filling meal

Fry the onions in a hot pan in oil until lightly translucent, add the minced meat and fry over high heat until crumbly and brown. Add the garlic, stir, and season well with pepper. It can be spicy, as the cream and the rest of the spice absorb a lot of the flavor. Add the cream and let it reduce slightly, stir, and reduce the heat to low. Meanwhile, bring the pasta water to a boil and cook the pasta al dente. After 10-15 minutes, the sauce should thicken. Remove from the heat and season with salt or Fondor and pepper. Place the drained pasta in a suitable baking dish and fold in the mozzarella. Spread the sauce on top and lightly fold in. Apply light pressure to flatten the casserole in the dish so that the liquid is evenly distributed. Bake in an oven preheated to 175°C for about 35 minutes. The casserole should only be lightly golden brown, otherwise the pasta sticking out of the top will be too crispy. Serve with a fresh salad.
