Ingredients for 10 servings:

  • 1,000 g plum(s)
  • 350 g sugar
  • 1 bag(s) Gelfix , 3:1, 1 bag of citric acid
  • 1 lemon(s)
  • 6 cl rum

Instructions

Working time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 45 minutes

Wash and pit the plums, cut them into small pieces, and place them in a sufficiently large saucepan. Mix the Gelfix, citric acid, and sugar and add them. Slowly bring the plums to a boil and simmer for 4 minutes, stirring constantly. Remove the pan from the heat and stir in the rum and lemon juice. Ladle into glasses (place a spoon in the glasses, otherwise the glass will burst), and add a small splash of rum on top. Seal the glass and turn it upside down for 2 minutes.
