Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 eggs
  • 4 slices of toast
  • 100 ml milk
  • 1 red bell pepper
  • 10 slices of cucumber
  • 8 slices of mozzarella
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder, sweet
  • Butter for frying

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

savory version

Mix the eggs with salt, pepper, and sweet paprika in a deep plate. Pour the milk into another deep plate. Dip the slices of toast in the beaten egg, then in the milk, and then again in the egg. Slice the peppers, cucumber, and mozzarella. Melt the butter in a pan. Fry the soaked slices of toast in the butter for 1 minute on each side. Place the mozzarella slices on the toast. Fry half of the chopped vegetables and sprinkle over the cheese. Sprinkle the other half freshly sprinkled over the French toast. After another 2 minutes, the French toast is ready.
