Pork neck topped with cheddar

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 3 slice(s) pork neck, 180 g each
  • 3 tbsp grainy mustard (not sweet mustard)
  • 2 m.-sized onion(s)
  • 100g Cheddar
  • n. B. Oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Slice the onion into thin half rings. Heat a grill pan with a little oil over high heat. Sear the meat on both sides and place it in a suitable casserole dish. Preheat the oven to 100 degrees Celsius (212 degrees Fahrenheit). Brown the onions in the grill pan in the frying fat. First, spread the mustard over the meat, then the onions. Sprinkle the cheddar cheese over the meat and let it cook in the oven for about 20 minutes.
