Quick Apple Microwave Cake

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 4 tsp flour
  • 2 tsp brown sugar
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • ½ tsp baking powder
  • 1 tsp muesli (oat crunchy muesli)
  • ½ tsp gingerbread spice
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 ½ tsp applesauce, unsweetened
  • 2 tsp milk
  • 1 tsp oil
  • 1 tsp water

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 minute; Total time approx. 6 minutes

Combine flour, sugar, baking powder, salt, and gingerbread spice in a tall mug. Add milk, oil, applesauce, and water and mix well until smooth. Finally, stir in the muesli. Place the mug in the microwave and “bake” the cake for 50 seconds at 1000 watts. The fresher the cake, the more liquid it will be. To achieve a proper cake consistency, let it cool slightly.
