Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 4 pear(s), ripe
- ½ lemon(s), juice
- 1 tbsp sugar
- ½ orange(s), peel
- 500 ml red wine
Instructions

Pere al vino rosso
Peel the pears whole, leaving the stems intact. Rub with lemon juice. Place the pears upright in a saucepan, add sugar, orange zest, and enough red wine to completely submerge the pears. Bring to a boil once, then let stand for 15 minutes. Serve lukewarm.
