Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 2 rolls, from the day before
  • e.g. milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 20 g butter
  • Cinnamon
  • Sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

as a main course or dessert

Cut the rolls into 2 cm thick slices. Melt the butter in a non-stick pan. Arrange the roll slices in the pan and pour enough milk over them so that they are about half submerged in the milk. Let them simmer for a few minutes until the slices are nicely soaked. Pierce briefly with a knife to check if they are done. Whisk the eggs and pour them over the soaked rolls, ensuring the mixture is evenly distributed. Cover the pan and let the eggs set for a few minutes. Sprinkle the noodles with cinnamon sugar and serve.
