Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 150 g smoked salmon, sliced
  • 1 tube(s) horseradish (cream)
  • 2 eggs, hard-boiled, preferably still warm
  • 4 slice(s) of gherkin(s) (sandwich), or about 16 slices of dill pickles
  • 4 large rolls (baguette)
  • 3 tbsp mustard, medium hot
  • 3 tbsp honey
  • 2 tsp, sautéed dill
  • 1 pinch(s) of pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

with horseradish and honey-mustard sauce

Cut the baguette rolls lengthwise and spread the base with horseradish cream. Slice the hard-boiled eggs and place them on the rolls with the horseradish cream. Spread the smoked salmon on the rolls and place the sandwich cucumbers on top. In a bowl, mix the honey and mustard with the dill sprigs until blended, then season with a pinch of pepper. Spoon the honey and mustard sauce onto the baguette rolls and fold the rolls shut. If you like, you can also top with a few fresh onion rings.
