Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 1 ring/s of meat sausage
- 250 g Edam cheese
- 2 tbsp mustard
- 1 tbsp oil
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes
Preheat the oven to 200°C – 225°C. Cut the sausage into 1 cm deep slices, then place the ring on a prepared baking sheet. Cut the cheese into as many slices as there are cuts in the sausage. Spread the sausage with the mustard and place the cheese slices into the cuts. Brush the sausage and cheese with oil and bake in the hot oven for about 20 minutes. Serve with baguette, white bread, or a roll.
