Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 250 g flour (wheat flour)
- 30 g oat flakes
- 30 g sugar, to taste
- 2 tsp baking powder
- 1 pinch of salt
- 1 pinch of baking soda
- 200 ml buttermilk
- 2 tbsp condensed milk
- some oat flakes, for sprinkling
Instructions
Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes
Knead the ingredients into a smooth dough, roll it out, and cut out circles about 1.5 cm thick using a glass. Let the scones stand for about 10 minutes, then brush with the condensed milk and sprinkle with the oats. Bake at 200 degrees Celsius (convection oven) for about 10 minutes. I serve the scones with cream cheese and jam for spreading.
