Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 600 g flour (coarse wholemeal flour)
- 180 g white flour
- 2 tsp baking soda
- 1 tsp salt
- 1 tbsp brown sugar
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 600 ml buttermilk
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Sift the white flour and baking soda into a bowl. Then add the coarse wholemeal flour, salt, and brown sugar and mix well. Next, add the olive oil and buttermilk and mix well with a wooden spoon for 2 minutes. Lightly grease a 1 kg baking pan with oil, pour in the batter, and bake in a preheated oven at 180°C on the middle rack for about 40 minutes, until golden brown.
