Simple Lasagna Bolognese

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g minced beef
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 300 ml water
  • 3 tbsp tomato paste
  • salt and pepper
  • Garlic
  • 4 tbsp crème fraîche (substitute)
  • 12 lasagna sheets (wholemeal, no pre-cooking)
  • 200 g cheese, grated low-fat
  • rosemary
  • Paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Very quick, low-fat version

Preheat oven to 200°C. Fry the ground beef and chopped onion in oil until crumbly, season with salt and pepper. Dissolve the tomato paste in the water and add to the ground beef. Season with rosemary, paprika, garlic, or other spices, if desired. Starting with the sauce, layer the sauce and pasta sheets alternately in four baking dishes (or in one large dish). Top each with a tablespoon of crème fraîche substitute (available with 11% fat or higher) and sprinkle with the cheese, then season with a little more rosemary, if desired. Bake for about 20 minutes. Serve in the dishes. Compared to a “regular” lasagna, you can save a lot of fat and calories by using low-fat cheese, a crème fraîche substitute instead of béchamel sauce, and ground beef instead of mixed ground meat. Whole-wheat pasta tastes just as good as white pasta, but the carbohydrates aren’t converted to sugar as quickly. So good for the conscience!
