Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 1 ½ kg organic orange(s)
- 1 kg gelling sugar 2:1
- 500 ml orange juice
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Cut off the tops and bottoms of the oranges and discard. Chop the oranges completely into small pieces and bring to a boil with the orange juice. Simmer for about 10 minutes. Add the gelling sugar and puree everything with a hand blender until smooth. Cover and simmer for 4 minutes. Caution: it will bubble and splash. So be careful when snacking and stir frequently to prevent sticking. Pour directly into boiled, screw-top jars and seal tightly. This makes a slightly tangy, very tasty, creamy jam.
