Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 300 g liver(s) (beef liver), shredded
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 30 g butter
  • 1 tbsp flour
  • 50 ml apple juice
  • Balsamic vinegar, dark
  • red wine
  • salt and pepper
  • cream

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Brown the liver in butter, turning occasionally, for just a few minutes, then remove from the pan. Add the chopped onion to the pan with a little butter and flour, and fry until browned, stirring occasionally. Deglaze with apple juice, balsamic vinegar, and red wine, and simmer for 10 minutes. Season with salt, pepper, and cream. Then salt the liver, return it to the pan, and heat through without boiling.
