Ingredients for 5 servings:
- 3 packs of tomatoes, pureed
- 500g spaghetti
- 1 onion(s)
- 1 garlic clove(s)
- 3 large carrots
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- e.g. oregano
- n. B. Thyme
- e.g. marjoram
- e.g. chili powder
- e.g. paprika powder
- e.g. salt and pepper
- Oil for frying
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes
vegetarian and vegan
Dice the onions and carrots. Fry both in hot oil until crisp. Then add the marjoram, thyme, and oregano. Fry for about 5 minutes, but not quite as hot. Then add the garlic, paprika, and chili powder and fry for about 2 minutes. Then add the tomato paste, but only for a short time, and then deglaze with the passata. Cover and simmer for about 45 minutes. Season to taste and adjust seasoning to your liking. In the meantime, cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions.
