Spiced slices with cherries and red wine

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 300 g flour
  • ½ pack of baking powder
  • 125 g oil, neutral
  • 4 eggs, separated
  • 250 g sugar
  • ¼ liter red wine
  • 1 tbsp gingerbread spice
  • 1 jar sour cherries, drained

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Combine the flour with the baking powder and stir in the oil, egg yolk, sugar, red wine, and gingerbread spice. Stir to form a smooth dough. Beat the egg whites until stiff and fold in. Spread the dough on a baking sheet lined with baking paper and top with the cherries. Bake at 180°C (convection oven) for 30-35 minutes. It’s best to test the doneness. Cut the cake into slices.
