Steamed dumplings from the microwave

Ingredients for 6 servings:

  • 400 g flour (wheat flour)
  • 1 pack of dry yeast
  • 3 tbsp sugar
  • ½ tsp salt
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 75 g butter, melted
  • 150 ml milk, lukewarm
  • 100 ml milk
  • 1 tbsp sugar
  • 2 tsp cinnamon

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 25 minutes

Prepare the yeast dough as usual, let it rest and rise in a warm place for about 1.5 hours. Then knead again and form into a log, cut into 6 pieces, and shape into balls. Place these in a microwave bowl. Mix the milk, sugar, and cinnamon and pour over the balls. Let rise for another 15 minutes, then cook with the lid on for about 5-6 minutes at 600 watts.
