Stir-fried lamb

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g lamb, boneless
  • 2 tsp sherry
  • 4 tsp soy sauce
  • 1 tsp oil (sesame oil)
  • 2 spring onions
  • 3 cloves garlic
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp ginger, finely chopped

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes

Rinse the lamb under cold running water, pat dry, and cut into thin strips. To marinate, combine the sherry, soy sauce, and sesame oil and marinate the meat for at least 20 minutes. Then remove the meat and pat dry (save the marinade). Trim and wash the spring onions and slice diagonally into rings. Peel and finely chop the garlic. Heat the oil in a wok, add the meat strips, and stir. After 1 minute, add the marinade and continue stirring. After another minute, add the spring onions, garlic, and ginger and stir for another 4 minutes. Serve hot.
