Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 500 g runner beans, flat
  • 1 m.-sized onion(s)
  • some oil
  • salt and pepper
  • ½ cup(s) meat broth

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Wash the beans, trim the ends, and cut diagonally into approximately 1-2 cm long pieces. Finely dice the onion and sauté in oil or butter in a non-stick pan until translucent. Add the beans and stir in the pan. After 1-2 minutes, add salt, pepper, and meat broth and stir to combine. Cover the pan and simmer on low heat for 15-20 minutes. It’s a good idea to check occasionally to see if there’s still enough liquid. If not, add a little more water or broth. If desired, add a little savory.
